Get To Know Me…

Please reach out to me if you have any additional questions or if you’d like to set up a free consultation.

I’ve discovered that healing is more possible when therapy is a genuine relationship between two real people so I wanted to add some information about me. Hi, I’m Danielle! I grew up always there was something a bit different about me. I was always so curious and had so many questions. Go figure that I’d become a therapist. Now I can proudly say I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Board Certified Art Therapist, Breathworker, and Artist.

  • I value self care more than anything. Taking care of my mind, body, and spirit is the main focus of each day (even on the days when I would rather not).
  • I am a cat and a plant mom.
  • I’ve been an artist my entire life. It started as something I realized I was “better at” than my older sister, but it grew into a passion that helped me explore and discover myself through its endless possibilities.
  • I believe that it’s possible to let go of limiting beliefs to bring in the life you’ve always wanted to live. The only limit is the extent of your imagination.
  • I focus on possibilities and not draw backs.
  • I’ve always joked that I feel like I have ‘tell me everything’ tattooed across my forehead 🙂 People tend to open up to me.
  • I regularly donate blood to help people in multiple ways.
  • I have had a long healing journey, and feel like I’m still on it. I’ve had my fair share of physical and mental health challenges.
  • I love to learn, and to challenge myself to be 1% better everyday.
  • Things that help me feel connected to others: laughing (I am the funniest person I know), sharing stories, creative projects, experiencing new things together, discussing life goals, travels, intently listening to understand.

My Approach

I support individuals in accessing their subconscious through creative outlets such as art, breathwork, and the intentional use of language. Creativity and embodiment activates the same areas of the brain as dreaming. They help bypass defense mechanisms, allowing for a more unfiltered and authentic expression. By incorporating art alongside other therapeutic modalities, we can uncover deeper perspectives and reveal unconscious beliefs. When I refer to “art,” I mean not only physical creations but also an approach to therapy itself. This may include offering artistic reflections, visualizations, or metaphorical insights to enhance your healing journey.

I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, biohacking (science based tools) interventions, Internal Family Systems, Person Centered Approaches, mindfulness/mediations, Solution Focused Therapy, and Art Therapy.

“Imagination is more important than knowledge.
For knowledge is limited to all we now know and
understand, while imagination embraces the entire
world, and all there ever will be to know and understand.”
