The Path to the Present Moment: Art, Movement & Breath as Anchors in Uncertain Times
Workshop April 19, 2026
11AM-5PM

There is so much happening — in the world, in our communities, in our homes, and inside our own minds. It can feel relentless. Overwhelming. Chaotic.

And often, our inner world mirrors that chaos.

But what if the goal isn’t to make it go away?

What if the anxiety, anger, grief, or unrest you feel is actually wise?

Our emotions are signals. They tell us when something is unjust. When something needs care, attention, or change. The work isn’t to silence them — it’s to build the capacity to be with them.

This workshop is an invitation to return to your body as a place of steadiness, awareness, and processing.

Through education, guided art-making, intentional movement, and grounding breathwork practices, we will:

  • Learn about your nervous system and identify practical ways to come back into the present moment
  • Reconnect with bodily sensations as anchors
  • Understand emotions, and work to build tolerance for intense emotions without becoming overwhelmed
  • Practice how to move energy through the body instead of holding it

You only need to show up as you are.

In a world that often pulls us into constant reaction, this space is about embodied response — about cultivating the ability to feel deeply without losing yourself.

Because even if the world around us feels chaotic, your body can become a place of grounded presence.

And that practice is not a luxury. It’s essential.
