Individual Therapy

The first two to four sessions will involve a comprehensive evaluation of your needs. I will then be able to offer some initial thoughts on what our work might include and we will create treatment goals and a plan to support you in becoming your best self. I am an artist, so the language I use may be reflective of that. I may describe my thoughts and reflections in an artistic manner by using metaphor, or by offering visualizations.

I offer 90 min sessions. I find that we live in a task driven world, and sometimes therapy becomes another task to complete during the day. 

A 90 min session offers:

  • You time to transition in and out of therapy, and gives us more time to dive into creating the life you are looking to live. 
  • An opportunity to meet less and for longer, which gives you more time to incorporate what we are working on in session, into your personal life. 
  • More space. Sometimes a 60 min session feels like it flies by, and just when we are getting into the good stuff the session is over. 
  • Support to your central nervous system. You won’t be anxiously watching the clock, hoping you get in everything you want to talk about before session time runs out.
    • Therapy is a commitment. If you have a busy schedule, this may be a way for your to prioritize therapy without shifting up your schedule. 

In person and telehealth appointments available
